We trust you have all been hitting the trails in your Heritage Boots, and again thank you for bringing them to life. As the warmer months near, Ridgemont is happy to share with you the Trailhead Adventure Shorts Kickstarter being run by our close friends at Coalatree. The shorts are made of a four-way stretch nylon ripstop fabric that is both water- and stain-resistant, and are available in both men's and women's styles.
Coalatree's Trailhead Adventure Pants have served us well on many treks, and we couldn't be more stoked for the shorts.

International Backers - UK Vessel Docked

The UK cargo vessel docked late last week as intended, and we are now working to clear customs in a timely manner. In the coming days, please be on the lookout for the BackerKit 48 Hour Notice we'd mentioned in our previous update to US backers. Making any needed changes now helps us to ensure the quickest possible delivery.

US Backers - Vessel Docked, BackerKit 48H Notice

Ridgemont is thrilled to report that the cargo vessel docked Saturday as planned, and we expect delivery to our US warehouse within 24-48 hours.
As we prepare to ship your orders, please take a moment to verify the shipping information you’ve provided in BackerKit. You will be receiving by email a “48 Hour Notice” from BackerKit, indicating that you have 48 hours to make any needed changes. Please be aware that providing accurate shipping information is your responsibility, and will help to streamline the fulfillment process. Tracking information will be sent to you via BackerKit shortly after your order has been shipped.

Shipping Update

I’m pleased to report that all the Heritage boots are aboard a shipping vessel, en route to our warehouse. Unfortunately, we have to relay a bit of bad news, and it means an additional delay.
Our containers were held for Chinese customs inspection and missed the vessels on which they were originally scheduled to ship. Ridgemont is not new to export, and our paperwork was in order. Once they got to our freight, we were quickly cleared, but it was the delay in actually inspecting our containers that did us in. As noted above, all freight has departed, but the time in port can’t be made up on the water. Our heads physically can’t hang any lower as we tell you this. We can only hope that you’ll hang in there with us these last couple of weeks, as we know that the quality and value of the Heritage boot will be worth it end the end. The stock arrives at the US port on December 16 and the UK port on December 22. It will take a couple of days from there to land in our warehouses. Once we have possession, the turnaround to you will be swift.
